‘Vinter Votter’ means ‘winter mittens’ in Norwegian and these mittens are inspired by traditional Norwegian Selbu mittens.

The small sample is shown in Lang Merino 200 (charcoal/green) and the large sample is shown in Quince & Co Chickadee (plum/grey). Pattern is written for Lang Merino 200. Quince & Co Chickadee knits up to a slightly larger tension.

These mittens can be worked on either double pointed needles or circular needles using the magic loop or 2 circulars methods.
