A winter sweater in which you could hibernate inside until spring

               ❄️Vinterhi = hibernate❄️

Vinterhi is worked in collaboration with Michelle and www.kokonyarn.com

Vinterhi is a relaxed-fit sweater with a V-neck, dropped shoulders and visible edges.

The sweater is worked top-down with an easy eyelet pattern at Front and Back.
Work starts with a cast on stitches at the shoulders for the Back and is worked down to the underarms. Stitches are picked up at the shoulders of the Back to work the Front in two parts, joined after the neck shaping. The Front and Back are joined at the underarm and worked in the rounds until the hem. A lateral braid is worked before the hem is worked in stockinette stitches. Sleeve stitches are picked up around each armhole to work the sleeve top-down in the round to cuff and a lateral braid is worked before the sleeve cuff and the stitches are bound off at desired length. At the neck, stitches are picked up for further finishing.

Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4):
The sweater has a positive ease at bust circumference of
approx 35cm/13.75”
Bust circumference: 110 (130, 150, 170) cm/ 43.25 (51, 59, 67)”

Yarn:
500 (600, 800, 950) m/546 (656, 874, 1038) y Chunky Mohair from Kokonyarn, bulky, 78% Goat – Mohair, 13% Wool, 9% Manufactured Fibers – Nylon / Polyamide, 100m/109y per 50g/1.76oz
The Chunky Mohair yarn has no “bounce” and is a non-elastic yarn, so it is possible to have the raw edges. The edges can curl but block out to lay flat after wet-blocking.

Other yarns can be used, but keep in mind that using other yarn qualities might lead to a different overall look of the sweater. It also affects the amount of yarn needed.

For your convenience, each size has instructions for the given size only. Pick your size and start knitting

Dernæst samles masker op rundt i ærmegab for at strikke ærmerne rundt i omgange.

Str 1 (2, 3, 4):
