Uses Medium Worsted Weight yarn # 4. Sample was made with Bernat Handicrafter Cotton but any equivalent will do. Aran Weight for Britain - 10 Ply for Australia Crochet Hook 4mm - USA G/6 - Britain 8. Fairly tight stitch is required.

Hat band is attached by Slip Stitching all around onto hat which helps keeps hat from stretching and provides a space to hide the back of the violets.

Option to make a straight or curved brim. Plain or decorative edge.
