This jacket is based on a very early 20th Century pattern called the Suburban Jacket. It is worn by Violet in the film ‘Tell Them of Us.’ The sample is knitted by Sheila Cunnea (Sheila22 on Ravelry).

Construction
The jacket is worked from the back hem up, increasing for the sleeves, over the shoulders. The fronts are then worked down from the shoulder, casting off the sleeves as they are worked. The cuffs are then worked down from the ends of the sleeves. The collar and pockets are worked separately.

Note:
Errata exists for the printed book version. Please check with designer before starting your project.
