Using 370 yards (2 skeins) of the main color, Adobe Skein Tones by Lion Brand in a #4 weight yarn, around 50 yards of my accent color, Truffle Skein Tones by Lion Brand, 80 yards of any miscellaneous black worsted yarn, and a few yards of a #2 weight grey for the strings, you will whip up the shell of this pretty little instrument. Less than half a bag of fluff is needed. A dowel rod or wire is not used in mine, but could easily be added to help the violin stand solo.
