The shawl is triangular in shape and combines stockinette stitch with a hole stitch pattern. It is finished with garter stitch and a crocheted border. The shawl is worked the centre of the upper edge downwards.

The pattern includes instructions for both the Basic and Customisable versions. This makes it possible to use yarn of any weight and to decide for yourself on the final look and size of the shawl.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS (Basic Version)
Length: approx. 51.25 in / 130 cm
Width measured across the centre: approx. 25.5 in / 65 cm

YARN (Basic Version)
BAMBOO SILK Yarn Queen Prague
(65% merino superwash, 20% bamboo i 15% silk; 3.5 oz / 100 g = 437 yd / 400 m),
col. „Výlet do Kodaně” – 1 skein (usage: 3.25 oz / 92 g)

You can use yarn of any weight to make this shawl, but I recommend choosing a yarn made from natural fibres

NOTIONS

• Circular needles size US 7 (4,5 mm); lenght 32 in / 80 cm or longer
• Crochet hook: US G/6 (4 mm) or US 7 (4,5 mm) for the crocheted border
• 3 markers (one of them can be a diƯerent color to mark the central stitch)
• Tapestry needle for weaving
• Scissors

GAUGE
4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm) = 16 sts and 30 rows – stockinette stich, after wet blocking.
Stockinette stitch: knit on odd rows, purl on even rows.

A perfect gauge is not necessary, but any diƯerences in gauge will aƯect the finished size of the shawl and the
amount of yarn used.
