This pattern is for a plush coronavirus/COVID-19. I created this as a prop to use in my classroom (I am a high school science teacher) and thought others may like it as well. I am a firm believer that we need to be able to laugh and find joy even in dark times, so this is something that helped me and my students do that.

This pattern is an advanced beginner project. You need to know how to work in the round, single crochet, increase, invisible decrease, slip stitch, and how to sew pieces together. The body is crocheted in one piece in the round, and then the tentacles are crocheted and sewn on. Unless otherwise noted, rounds are worked in continuous, unjoined spirals.
