This asymmetric triangular shawl is knit in a combination of knit-and-purl textured stitches, reminiscent of classic fishermen’s sweaters. It features a lot of the key elements of classic Gansey designs, such as classic 8-stitch motives textured surfaces and entertaining but easy-to-memorize knitting patterns.

It can be knit to length. It is knit top-down with increases at the spine and edges, with an integrated i-cord border and a set of textured section repeats.

The beautiful No.1 by Cottagecore used for the sample enhances the texture play and depth of its understated pattern motives.
