The sweater is worked seamlessly, from the top down. First, the back yoke is worked flat, increasing stitches for the shoulders from the beginning. Then, you pick up the stitches from the shoulder edges of the back yoke and work the front yoke. After the front yoke is finished, the body is worked in the round. The sleeves are worked in the round, from the top down.
