The pattern includes charted and written instructions and links to helpful tutorials to help you master unfamiliar techniques.

Perfect for experienced knitters and particularly adventurous beginners.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Circumference 28.5”/72 cm
Depth 8”/20.5 cm

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
2 sets of US 6/4 mm circular needles at least 16”/40 cm long.

Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

3 stitch markers (2 removable for grafting), waste yarn for provisional cast-on (yarn with high contrast to Colours A & B), yarn needle.

GAUGE
24 sts and 36 rnds = 4”/10 cm with US 6/4 mm needles in pattern repeat in the round, after blocking.

Pattern repeat (8 sts wide and 16 rnds tall) = 1.3”/3.3 cm wide and 1.78”/4.5 cm tall

YARN
1 skein of Blackwattle Yarn and Fibre TerraFirma (Limited Edition Yarnologie) (60% Superwash merino/20% alpaca/20% silk; 437 yds/400 m per 100g skein) in Sweet Pea (Colour A).

1 skein of Skein Queen Enchant (70% baby alpaca/20% silk/10% cashmere; 437 yds/ 400 m per 100g skein) in Pale Oatmeal (Colour B).

If substituting yarn, approx. 437 yds/400 m of Colours A and B in fingering-weight yarn.

A higher contrast between Colours A & B will create a striking look. Combining colours close in value will create a significantly more muted appearance.
