Prague Castle is the Czech Republic’s most visited historic site; one of its most famous features is the magnificent Vladislav Hall, which was completed in 1502 as a ceremonial space. In later years it was used for assemblies, trade, and even indoor jousting. The delicate twisted stitch patterning of this hat is inspired by the incredible rib vaulting of the hall’s ceiling. The hat is sized from baby to adult and is knit from the bottom up in the round; the tiny cables can be knit without a cable needle.
