For this double layer baby cover I used:
Needles: ChiaoGoo Circular Needles, U.S. Size 8 (5 mm), 37” (93 cm) length
Materials: INFINITY AIR (65% baby alpaca, 7% merino wool, 28% polyamide 50g 150m)
Pattern:
The Volcano Cover is worked in stockinette stitch in a round. First 15 rows of the first (milky) color are knitted at the beginning, then the pattern is done with the second color (light blue). The second color section can be done as large as you wish. At the end the 15 rows of the first color are done. To sew the edges together use “Kitchener Stitch” method which is shown at the end of the pattern. To give your cover a festy look, sew some small pom poms on.
The cover measures and can be given to a newborn to make his or her very first nights full of warmth and love.
