This delicate and dramatic lace shawl is a wide and shallow crescent that gets more heavily beaded as you progress through the pattern and your shawl is finished with a finale of a dramatic and exciting lace edge.

I used just under 1000 Miyuki size 5 Miyuki triangle beads. You will also need a 1mm crochet hook or crotat hook to apply your beads, a 3.75mm (US5), 4mm (US6) and a 4.5mm (US7) circular needle - mine were 100cm long, a 3mm crochet hook, a darning needle to weave your ends in and blocking mats and pins. You will also find it useful to print your pattern on a colour printer though should you not have one you could always use a coloured pencil to mark your beaded stitches.

Pattern includes charts and full written instructions with bead placement shown clearly in both sets of directions.

All pattern rows are right side only, there is no wrong side patterning on this shawl. My shawl measures 22 inches (56 cm) deep and 84 inches (213 cm) wide.

If you like my designs please join us in the Boo Group where you will find a place to discuss my patterns, show off your knitting and hear about KALs and MKALs.

Patterns already set up by KnitCompanion can be purchased, in the KnitCompanion Store, for knitters who like to use KnitCompanion, but prefer to have their charts already set up.
