This cowl is all about combining two yarns to create a very unique fabric. It works well to pair a highly variegated yarn with something more plain to tone it down, or two plain yarns to get a nice tweed-like effect.

For the body, two strands of different yarns are held together and knit, while the edging uses two strands of the same colour and is crochet.
