The Wafer Cable Beanie is a delicious chocolate creation that’s fun to knit and cosy to wear. Designed specifically to showcase the delightful Australian Alpaca yarn it’s pictured in, the natural chocolate colours of the alpaca fleece were perfect for this stitch pattern.

The beanie is worked from the bottom-up, with instructions provided for working flat or in-the-round using the Magic Loop method. A 2x2 ribbed cuff kicks things off before the Wafer Cables begin. At the end, the cables gently twist out into the crown decrease, before finishing off with a pompom. A thick cosy fabric is created from the combination of the cables and the stranding across the back, making this a very warm and snugly winter accessory.
