Gorgeous little three owls on a waffle stitch background useful for afghan block exchanges, sample blocks for afghans, and also used at dishcloths! when made in cottons. Owl pattern readily available in stitch dictionaries, but waffle border customized to suit this design and owl placement, etc. is original.

Yarn usage and type is dependent on yarn weight, etc. I love making these in Vanna’s Choice but also in cotton for Dishcloths, etc. And the alternate yarns are excellent for afghans and blanket blocks.
