Waffly Cosy Scarf
This scarf is suitable for all levels of knitter including beginners. The pattern is very easy to knit and creates a classic look. The pattern is for a single coloured scarf. I find that this scarf is popular with the men in my family, though it really would suit everybody. The best thing is there is just a 4 row repeat to achieve this stitch pattern
This scarf in knitted on straight needles and measures approximately 7” inches wide when blocked. If you wish to make a wider version see Adjustments within the pattern PDF. Blocking will help show the detail of the stitch pattern. The pattern looks similar but not the same on the two sides. Both sides are beautiful. Please see the photos and video to see how it looks. I used an entire cake of King Cole Carousel Chunky for my scarf and it measures about 74” which is considered to be a medium length scarf.
You can really get creative with this project using scrap yarn to make a striped scarf.
