“Wage Hope” is the phrase of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), which is an organization dedicated to raising awareness, outreach to patients and families, and finding treatment solutions for patients. Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers in the United States, with currently no early detection methods.

I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer 3 year ago, and this design is a tribute to him, as well as to all other cancer patients. Together, we can wage hope for a future that is cancer free.

This beanie is designed for one size, adult, with suggestions on how to modify for different sizes.

You will need one skein of yarn for the main color and 20-30 yards for a contrasting color - great for stash busting!

Purple is the color for pancreatic cancer, but feel free to knit your beanie with any color you’d like, to support a cause you are passionate about.
