The cowl is worked in the round and starts with 1 hem and 3 tucks. There are 14 rounds with 3 colors worked at the same time, but if desired you can work with only 2 colors (chart 2 and 2a). When the color work is finished, you establish edge stitches with buttonhole and work back and forward. The cowl is finished with I-cord bind off with the main color.
