Walborg is a easy- and quick-knitted project. She is knitted from the snout (or beak?) to the tail, on a 80-100 cm circular needle size 3 mm (UK 11). The whale is knitted using the Magic Loop technique.

The gauge varies based on which yarn you decide to knit with. The original yarn used for the pattern is Double Sunday from Sandnes Garn (Light worsted), or Woolly from Jord Clothing. You can easily choose other yarn qualities. Be aware that the amount of yarn needed for the pattern can vary according to which yarn quality you knit with.
