The Walk the Line Skirt is a high waisted pencil skirt with a classic straight silhouette. The pattern is written for 18 waist sizes, and includes instructions on how to customize the fit for a standard skirt or a wider skirt for those with a larger hip-to-waist ratio.

Techniques: Long-tail cast on, working in the round, whip stitch, increasing stitches, slipping stitches, creating a folded hem, knitting and purling through the back loop

Skill Level: Advanced beginner

CONSTRUCTION
The skirt is worked from the top down beginning with a folded waist band. You will continue working in the round, using lifted increases to discretely tailor the skirt according to your body’s measurements. Finally, a folded hem is worked for a professional finish.
