The Walk this Way Headband is an allover cable pattern using a common aran cable, the horseshoe cable. This pattern will suit the all levels of knitter.

The headband would make a lovely gift for friends and family. A hand made gift is such a special way to show your loved ones how much you care.

Most aran or worsted weight yarn will work for this project. I used Hayfield Bonus Aran yarn and Studio Donegal Aran Tweed. The width of the headband will be approximately 4.5 inches. This pattern is knitted flat using straight needles. It is an excellent pattern for beginners.

Materials
5 mm straight needles/circulars (to knit flat)
Aran yarn 75 - 105m /82 - 115 yds (I used Studio Donegal - Donegal Aran Tweed & Hayfield Bonus Aran for the headbands pictured)
Tapestry needle (to seam and to weave in the ends)
