I’m sharing free knitting instructions to make a fun decoration for an older person’s walker. It is a beautiful way to show care through handmade work. I made this for my mother when she went into a care home. I knitted a piece for every visit. When each piece was added, she got lots of attention which she loved. No one else had one and it made her special.

I did this a few years ago so I apologise in advance if the pattern is not quite perfect!
