Walkie Welted Dog Cowl gives you the formulas to make the cowl for almost any sized dog! There is an optional Leash Gap to add, to allow your dogs leash to go through the center stripe for walkie times! (Harness wearers can easily skip this step)

Skills Needed:
Knitting in the Round
German Twisted Cast On (or your favorite stretchy cast on)
Knit and Tuck (photo tutorial included)
Backward Loop Cast On

Needed Materials:
Tape Measure to properly size your dog’s neck
Size 7 Circular Needles
Embroidery Needle

DK Yarn in 3 or more colors, typically needing 150 yards or more total.

The Samples were knit using the Un Besito Fiber DK Treat Packs (5 DK Minis, each at 49 yards). Depending on the neck size of your dog, 2 cowls may be made with each pack.
