When designing this hat I wanted something simple yet beautiful. This hat is a simple cable repeat and can be very memorizable. Sit back with your favourite podcast/movie and you’ll see the cables knit themselves. I think it’s a great beginner pattern for anyone wanting to try cables or cabling without a cable needle. Materials
Approximately 120 (140,160) yards of DK weight yarn. Any DK weight yarn will work knit to gauge

Sample was knit using Summit Rd. Fibres in the Method to the Madness colorway

Needles
One 16” circular in US 4 (3.5mm)
One 16” circular and DPNs in US 6 (4.00 mm)

Gauge
22 stitches per 4” by 4”

Sizes
Youth/Adult Small (Medium, Large)
To fit head circumference 19”(21”,23”) around

Notions:
4 Stitch markers, tapestry needle, cable needle
