Wallaby Way is a sock pattern designed to be completely customizable. The pattern includes instructions to make cuff down or toe up socks with an afterthought heel or a heel flap and gusset. It also includes instructions for adding a contrasting heel, cuff, and toe.
Wallaby Way features an aquatic themed side panel made up of three different sea creatures: a fish, a jellyfish, and a turtle. Each sea creature has its own charted and written instructions so that you can mix and match the sea creatures on your panel. You can easily knit a pair of socks that features only one of the sea creatures or choose to knit a panel featuring one of each. All you have to do is follow the chart or instructions for the sea creature of your choice, repeating the same chart for a one creature panel or moving on to another chart for a second and third creature.
