The Wallflower mitts are worked in the round with stranded knitting, using either long circular needles to work in Magic Loop or DPNs. Whatever way you prefer to knit in the round is up to you!

This pattern is recommended for knitters who have experience with basic mitten construction, stranded colorwork, knitting in the round, and reading charts.

Approximately 130 yards/119 meters of light fingering weight yarn for Main Color
Approximately 75 yards /69 meters of light fingering weight yarn for Contrast Color

BC Garn Bio Shetland in Tundra (MC) and ecru (CC)

Needles
US size 1 (2.25mm) Double Pointed Needles or circular needle OR size required to obtain gauge.

Finished Size
Women’s size medium, approximately 7.5 inches (20 cm) in circumference and 8 inches (22 cm) Long after blocking.

Gauge: 32 stitches and 34 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stranded pattern, knit in the round, and blocked.

Knitting to the correct gauge is important to achieve the finished measurements noted above. Adjusting gauge will alter the size of your mitts as well as yarn requirements.
