Ponchos are kind of like shawls, but better! Okay okay that’s a personal opinion, but I love how easy, versatile, and quick they are! This is a basic poncho design that works up quickly and is very customizable--I provide the multiple in case you need to resize. Make it in cotton to go over spring and summer clothes, or acrylic or wool for warmth in autumn or winter.

Your yarn yardage may be different than mine due to tension, resizing, or length preference. I used 2.5 skeins of Impressions on my first poncho and 6 skeins of Bulky Twist on my second.
