Is it a shawl? Is it a scarf? Is it a wrap? It’s whichever you choose. This shawl/scarf/wrap is very generously proportioned and has an unusual shape, tapering almost to a point at the narrow end.

Originally run as a mini cal on my Facebook group it is now available as a complete download here.

Available in both US and UK terms.

This is an asymmetric shawl with a wingspan of 280cm tapering from 10cm at the narrowest point to 47cm at the widest. The main body is a simple construction of dc and (dc, ch1) rows (US terms) with an intricate (but easy to follow) pattern of lace for the border.

I used hand dyed 4ply yarn for the cream and peach version - almost 150g (approx 600m) for the body and a further 100g (400m) for the border. One of the testers used a Scheepjes Whirl for hers and another used lace weight. This is very adaptable and could be done in a variety of yarns.
