Wanderling is worked seamlessly in St st from the top down using raglan increases on both sides of a cute mock cable to shape the yoke. An additional mock cable panel runs down the back for some knitting and (of course!) visual interest. Button band and buttonhole band are worked in garter stitch simultaneously with the yoke and the body. After separating the sleeves and the body, the slightly a-shaped body is first worked back and forth to the end of the button placket, then the body is joined to work in the round down to the hem. Then the sleeves were placed back on the needles and worked top down in St st in the round to end.
Instructions for optional pockets are given.
