Welcome to my second pattern - Warm Ashes Beanie! This listing is for an immediate pdf download. This pattern works up very fast.

This super warm, customizable beanie is perfect for any cold weather. Whether you have been crocheting for a long time or a short time - or maybe you’ve never done a hat pattern before - this pattern is perfect for you. Using bulky yarn gives it the thickness and softness you need. This pattern was originally designed with cancer patients in mind. A dear friend of mine was recently diagnosed and my first thought was to give her a nice cozy hug from a distance due to the current pandemic. This pattern is constructed in 3 parts and is written to be worked bottom up.

Note:

  • Ravelry does not allow me to enter the exact gauge - the exact gauge can be found in the pattern document.
  • Average size estimates can be found in the pattern.

Yarn:
This pattern calls for Bulky size 5 yarn - I used Loops and Threads Charisma.

Materials:

  • Size 5 yarn (chunky/bulky)
  • Yarn needle and scissors to cut off and sew in ends
  • Hook that corresponds with yarn
  • Tape measure
  • Stitch counter (optional but highly recommended)
  • Pom Pom or faux fur ball (optional)
