If you love knitting cables, you’ll enjoy this shawl made using light worsted weight yarn, guaranteeing that you’ll be warm. The patch pockets ensure that the shawl will stay put on your shoulders.

The traditional Shetland Honey-Comb cable borders an unusual Japanese cable to create this one of a kind warm pocket shawl.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

This pattern was expertly tested by Kelleigh Bland who can be reached at: kelleighz@outlook.com and the sample was knitted with Handmaiden’s/Fleece Artist’s Woolie Silk.

The pattern is both written and charted out and there is a schematic to assist you with pocket placement.

There are instructions for an optional crocheted edging, should you like the shawl edged.
