This warm pocket shawl will be fun for any knitter that loves twisting stitches, combined with a unique textured stitch. The patch pockets are added last and insure that the shawl will stay on your shoulders. The two stitches compliment each other nicely. The pattern contains two methods of doing both a left twist and a right twist, as well as how to do the optional crocheted edging. In addition, it is both charted and written out line by line.

There is a small schematic to help you with pocket placement, as well as instructions for an optional crocheted edging, should you want it edged

The shawl is made using a worsted weight yarn and size #7 (U.S.) needles (4.5mm).

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good knowledge of twisting stitches).

It would make a beautiful gift for either yourself of someone special to you.

The shawl was expertly tested by Miranda West, who can be reached at: hermione1369@hotmail.com, and is made with Lorna’ Laces Shepherd Worsted Weight Yarn, in colorway, Fjord.
