Simple, easy and a quick to knit project for the little ones as a last minute baby gift, or a baby shower gift. Also great to use up those balls of yarn that left from other projects. These socks knit up fast due to DK weight yarn. Knit top down, with a heel flap and a gusset. An easy only knit and purl stitches pattern runs along the leg part.

Sizes: 0-3M (3-6M, 6-12M)

0-3M – ~ 8.5 cm/3.4’’ from heel to toe;
3-6M – ~10 cm/ 4’’ from heel to toe;
6-12M – ~12.5cm/5’’ from heel to toe.

Materials:

• 25-40g DK weight yarn. The samples shown are knitted with Drops Lima DK (11 wpi) 50 grams/100 meters, (65% wool. 35% alpaca); Drops Merino Extrafine DK (11 wpi) 50 grams/105 meters (100% merino wool); Drops Flora – 2 yarns held together – 50 grams/210 meters (65% Wool, 35% Alpaca ).
• 2.5 US/3 mm circular needles for knitting magic loop method, at least 80 cm/32’’ long
• Row counter (optional).
• Tapestry needle.
