Designed by myself, this adorable dog sweater is perfect for keeping smaller dogs toasty warm when it’s cold outside. Not only are they adorable, but they fit great. They are designed to be stretchy and very comfortable. PERFECT for puppies and small dogs. Looks great in solid or variegated colors!

Super easy to knit, and doesn’t take long to make at all. I can easily whip up one of these while watching a movie. And these are KNIT FLAT… which means no double pointed needles are required. Even beginners can create these cute sweaters!

Includes instructions for the following sizes:

Small: 2- 4 pounds (shown in photos) (that’s up to 1.8 kg)

Medium: 5 - 9 pounds (that’s up to 4 kg)

Large: 10 - 16 pounds (that’s up to 7.25 kg)

You can upsize for larger pets by using a bulkier yarn and larger needles. Tips also given for adding length for longer dogs or width for the chubbies.

Suggested yarns: Anything chunky.

Needle size: 10.5 (6,5mm)

Full color 4 page pattern PDF will be available to you after payment. Includes photos. YES, you may sell items made from this pattern!

Modifications: The 2nd picture is of my niece’s Pitty… she is approx 40 pounds. You can add some rows, add some width, and easily modify this pattern for a medium sized dog like Nala.
