This quick knit cowl is meant to just fill that gap between your neck and jacket on those cold winter days. The turtleneck is loose enough to not be restrictive and tall enough to block the wind. The cowl part is long enough to go shoulder to shoulder and keep you warm. The neckline features short row shaping to lower the front neck just enough so it doesn’t tickle your chin and the plain stockinette works up quickly. Use a beautiful alpaca yarn, like the yarn I have chosen from Yarn Citizen, or a cozy wool to keep you warm. If you choose a solid color you can use any form of embellishment to make it yours alone.
