Perfect beginner slipper pattern that will keep your feet warm and cozy. Uses only beginner stitches and is a mostly repeating pattern, which is ideal for a first or second project. I’ve also included a graphic/chart to illustrate the pattern for those who prefer to learn or follow along visually, read from left to right, top-down.

Works up very quickly with chunky/bulky yarn, and is very easy to adapt to different sizes.

I prefer to use a chunky yarn and smaller needle to get a denser knit, to keep my feet extra toasty. In my photo I used Lion Brand Wool Ease thick & quick super bulky in “Succulent” and size US 6 double pointed needles. However it’s incredibly easy to use whatever you have on hand (with some sizing adjustments) as the seed stitch can be very forgiving.

1 pair in women’s US size 7 used just over 1 skein of chunky yarn.

PS: This is my first ever pattern written up for publication, so notes are welcome!
