The warm winter braid is a thick and warm headband. It can be worked in three different variations; on different needle sizes and therefore different thicknesses. Something for every taste! The headband is worked in three stripes or rolls, in rounds, up to the desired length. Cast off all stitches, braid the stripes and sew ends together with Kitchener stitch. This instruction is a perfect stash buster – use yarn you already have! The stated yarns are just recommendations. Check for substitutes with the same meterage and gauge.
