Notes About this Design; Although the Fractured Lattice pattern is not difficult by itself, combined with the decreasing at the armholes it does become tricky keeping track of how the rows should begin. Please take the time to really get to know the repeat so that the armhole and neck shaping don’t interfere with the continuity of the pattern. This is where markers can help: place a marker between the 8 sts of the repeat to help see where the sts are going.
For the shoulder shaping, use your favorite w&t method (German or Japanese or standard) or you can eliminate the shoulder shaping entirely and simply place all the sts on holders for the shoulders.

If you use the Tangier, when changing to the next ball of yarn, pull out the yarn until the correct color is ready to knit. This will keep the continuity of the striping. When the back is finished, start a new ball of yarn for the front in the same color sequence as the back so that the side seams will match fairly closely.
Do the same with the sleeves, start the cuffs with the same color as the back and front.
You will be able to use the yarn you pull off when the color sequence is correct. I ended up with a small amount of yarn left from the 6 balls needed to make the medium.
This sweater is knit form the bottom up in four pieces and sewn together. The front neck splits in a henley shape. Buttons and buttonholes can be added to the neck, but I left them off.
