As a woman who was diagnosed and underwent treatment for ovarian cancer at the age of 19, and will soon celebrate four years of remission, I designed this beanie for all the warriors out there going through their own cancer battles. In honor of ovarian cancer awareness, all proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, a foundation working to advance research into this crazy disease. To anyone reading this who has been touched by cancer, remember that you are a warrior in this fight.
