The Wasabi vest is an advanced beginner/ intermediate friendly pattern.
It’s worked flat and consists of two panels (front and back) worked from bottom to top. Once those are finished and joined together by the sides and shoulders, stitches have to be picked up for neck and armhole ribbings, which are worked in the round.
