Very Easy Crochet Pattern for Washcloth / Dishcloth

Suitable for beginners with a knowledge of double crochet (UK treble) and single crochet (UK double).

Easy one-row pattern repeat means the cloths work up quickly and this stitch is a beautiful textured stitch for these cloths.

UK and US terms are BOTH given, with UK terms in brackets throughout.

Pattern is simply laid out and very easy to follow.

No fancy advanced stitches.

You will need less than one 50g ball of cotton aran per one cloth made. It doesn’t matter which brand of cotton you use.

gauge isn’t important.

Pattern calls for 5mm hook, but you can make them bigger and bulkier with larger hook and a few extra rows. It’s your choice.

The washcloths make a wonderful gift. Just roll them or fold them, tie them with twine, pop in a box and add a gift tag. Perfect gift for your eco-conscious friends.
