For cat, penguin, zebra, and polar bear puppets

Easy knit designs! Body pattern is given in 2 styles: garter and stockinette. When used as a washcloth, puppet is worn with face on the back of the hand so buttons don’t rub. For young children, sew felt circles in place of the button eyes. Rinse with clean water after using. Squeeze out water and allow them to dry completely. Discard puppet if it becomes worn or has loose parts. This product is intended to be used with adult supervision. Contains small parts and may not suitable for unattended young children. Be sure all embellishments are securely attached before use.

The yarn is cotton-elastic so it stretches to fit most adults too. If using Fixation or Espirit double the yarn and use on size 9 needles (same number of stitches). The Cotton Twirl is slightly thicker and does not need to be doubled (2 balls makes 3 puppets). I have also used Butterfly Cotton, 4 additional stitches on size 6 needles (no elastic in this yarn).
