Materials:

• Acrylic worsted weight yarn. I chose Red Heart Super Saver in buff. Any gray or tan should work fine.
• 4.5 mm hook
• Scissors
• Stitch marker
• Yarn needle
• Poly-fil stuffing

Using a different Yarn and/or hook will get different sized results.

NOTE: I have had 2 decoy nests up for 2 years in a row. I stuffed them fully but gently with polyfil and have not had any issue with mold despite them being rained on a lot and humid Michigan weather. I take them down in the late fall and put them up in the spring, washing them in the washing machine and storing them inside over the winter. When I put them up in the spring, I change their locations a little. I have had to discourage a few nests too close to our house/deck, but it has not been nearly as bad as the year before the decoy nests went up. The worst thing that has happened to the decoy nests is color fading.
