Pattern Description from Cast On, November 2009-January 2010: “This lacy Cardigan incorporates vertical panels of Wasp Wing Lace. the Reverse Stockinette stitch separating each panel is gradually decreased so that the cardigan flares at the hips. The cardigan is designed to loosely drape in the front; it does not close at the front. Stockinette stitch is picked up along the front and neck band. A few rows are worked and then the band is folded over to the wrong side and sewn in place.”
