Waste not want not is a stash busting v-neck sweater made with multiple strands (5 or 6 of varying weights) of stash yarn held together to create super chunky weight yarn.

Yardage not listed but the finished sweater weighed 1.1kg with a mix of yarn weights (mainly 4ply to aran / heavy worsted) and fibres (mostly wool and acrylic - also included one lace weight strand of mohair throughout which was the 6th strand)

Schematic and video tutorial included.

This is a super simple drop shoulder sweater with a deep v-neck, made in a front and back panel with the sleeves worked in rounds directly from the arm holes.

Because this is a stash busting pattern, the gauge will likely vary. for this reason, the pattern is written for the sweater pictured (110cm bust) with tons of guidance on crocheting it for your preferred size.

The pattern also outlines how the strands were held together and how to choose and change colours.

The ribbing was created with a 6mm crochet hook and a single strand of chunky yarn weight.

A fun colourful way to use up your stash!
