Modern quilts are truly a source of inspiration for me. In particular, I love how artists of this craft have taken a skillset of days gone by and modernized the look to appear more contemporary, without sacrificing any of the traditional attention to detail and craftsmanship. This project is a crocheter’s take on these modern quilts, as it combines a bright, cheerful palette with a contemporary geometric pattern. My inspiration for this particular project was the push button water arcade toy of my childhood. tried to capture the sense of the balls falling through the water by placing the colors in a gradient design. This pattern is perfect for showcasing those gorgeous indie skeins, tucking into beloved minis and/or using up those odds and ends that every crafter seems to accumulate!
