Water bears, also known as tardigrades or moss piglets, are microscopic animals that have existed since the Cambrian period. They are incredibly resilient and have even survived in space!
This water bear is knitted in the round and is relatively simple to make. The finished product measures 9 inches long and 4.5 inches tall.
The yarns I used are:
- Plymouth Encore Solids & Heathers worsted weight, color 1415 (beige)
- Berroco Comfort Solids & Heathers worsted weight, color 9729 (gray)
