I’m so very excited to share my first design. This simple water bottle sleeve will fit a 500ml Tupperware water bottle and 591ml(20oz) water bottle. Ive tried a few shapes and they all work.

In the heat of summer you need to stay hydrated, so I always have a water bottle somewhere near by. I’ve got a couple sizes. The big 1L bottle (32oz for those in the USA) is for around the house and a smaller size 500ml (16oz) for carrying in the car and my bag.

I was tired of cleaning up the water from the “sweat” or making sure that there was a napkin or something underneath. I have these crochet mandala coasters that work really well. The pattern for those came from the August issue of crochet world magazine.
One day I decided to make a sleeve so I did not have to feel the wetness on my hands as well. It is hard to crochet with wet hands. I pulled out a colour and started on my big 1L bottle size. No measurments the first time, so the fit was not that great. Definitly too short.

Second time around I made a smaller one for my 500ml bottle. I took measurements and made a plan. I love how it turned out. This bottle came with me to the PNE and my backpack stayed dry and the water a bit cool.

You can find the pattern free on my blog Raindrop Design, or get a pdf download for $1.50CAD at my etsy shop RaindropDesignCa. I have not tested this so if you find any mistakes or have any questsions please email me at raindropdesign@mail.com
