Why “Water Lily” hat?

Hat is in one size for head circumference of 50 to 60 cm / 19,5 to 23,5 inches and the depth of the hat is 20 cm / 7,8 inches. Of course, depth of the hats are adjustable and you can repeat the pattern as many times as you like.

  • double pointed needles size 2 mm / US 0 and size 3 mm / US 3 (or circulars at same size)
  • cable needle
  • markers (optional)
  • for this size it took 60g (250 yds) of 4 ply fingering yarn (DROPS Baby Merino)

So, what you should know about knitting?

  • knit and purl (naturally);
  • yarn over;
  • knit 2 together and slip, slip, knit together;
  • know how to make cables - 3/3 cables in this case (to right and left both);
